Family Tree Ministries can
generate a
Homeschool Transcript and a Homeschool Diploma for students registered
with their local school district as "homeschoolers".
The Transcripts
are
"Official" if the student was registered with the district, which makes their
status, a "districtly enrolled homeschooler". This "Homeschool Transcript" is your affirmation of studies
and is
for informational purposes only, adding professionalism to your records. All decisions for acceptance of credits lies with the receiving school, and is governed by statutes and Administrative Rules. Samples of work may be required by a receiving school, and this information is vital for them in order to
better place your child appropriately, and understand his or her needs. If your child is to be placed in a new setting, it is important for schools and/or colleges to know what classes have been accomplished
by your student, how many community service hours were accomplished, and what testing was completed.
In recent years, homeschoolers have been very well
received at colleges and, having transcripts gives that extra layer of professionalism. Still, college admissions is based more upon test scores than
upon them receiving your transcript or diploma.
